Join us online for information about how to practice self-care with art virtually.

For the past two years, the Student Support and Advocacy Center has created an event called the “Art of Self-Care” for Sexual Assault Awareness Month which is a space to engage in art and creative work with special consideration for trauma survivors, activists, and people in the anti-violence movement. To practice safety and social distancing, we are going to move the program online and with even more ways to engage. We are hoping to post some tips and ideas to get your creativity flowing during this difficult time. We will do our best to encourage a variety of activities that focus on a variety of tools and mediums knowing that you might not have everything you need to complete them. We will do our best to suggest alternatives, but feel free to share yours in the comments too.

For the rest of this semester, we will be sharing this content on SSAC’s social media, on Mason 360, and potentially Burnalong.  We are hoping this content will include helpful posts, tips, links to helpful content, instructional videos, and more!
